WHO WE ARE
R N Shinde Opticians traces its proud heritage back to 1928, when our grandfather Mr. RAJARAM NAGESH SHINDE laid the foundation of a small but trusted eyewear practice in Mumbai Girgaon. Built on honesty, quality craftsmanship, and genuine care for every customer, his dedication soon made the store a reliable name in the community.
Carrying this legacy forward, his son MR. NARENDRA RAJARAM SHINDE and daughter-in-law SMT. MADHURI NARENDRA SHINDE nurtured and expanded the business with the same values — introducing modern eye care practices while maintaining the warmth of a family-run store. Today, the tradition continues with the third generation by Mr. RAHUL NARENDRA SHINDE and his wife Mrs. PRAGATI RAHUL SHINDE, who blend innovation, technology, and contemporary style with the timeless principles of service and trust that began nearly a century ago. What started as a humble vision has now grown into a respected eyewear destination, still guided by the same passion for eye care across generations.

R N Shinde & Sons founded by Mr. Rajaram Nagesh Shinde in 1928 in Girgaon, Mumbai, R. N. Shinde & Sons Opticians began as a humble family-run eyewear store with a simple mission — to bring quality vision care to the local community. What started with our grandfather’s dedication and craftsmanship was later carried forward with the same passion by the next generations. Today, we proudly represent over 95 years of trust, expertise and personalised eye-care service, serving families across generations and remaining one of Mumbai’s respected optical destinations.
